East Side Tribe is a grassroots social and spiritual community fueled by Jewish values and rooted in East Nashville (although you are welcome no matter where you live). We believe that vibrant, meaningful Jewish life can happen anywhere and be led by anyone with a desire to share traditions and grow community. So we strive to foster a culture where you can feel a genuine sense of belonging and engage with Jewish values, culture, ritual and spirituality, regardless of your background, faith, or ability.

Everything East Side Tribe does is created, led, and supported by volunteers and community members. It's been that way since we started back in 2017 with humble monthly potluck Shabbat dinners at community members’ homes. And now, with a team of over 20 volunteer leaders running several recurring programs, we are becoming a certified nonprofit, formalizing our membership systems, and working towards financial self-sustainability.

We’ve been planting the seeds for an innovative, inclusive Jewish community for years. Now, it’s time to add water, sunlight, and all-natural fertilizer (metaphorically speaking). Let's make it happen, together!
